Cavea nucis vel inclusa nux (etiam captiva vel tonde nux dicta) constat nucem (plerumque quadratam) in cavea ferri vere quae nucem involvit. Cavea duas alas habet, quae compressa cavea in quadrata foramina inseri sinunt, verbi gratia, in cancellis armorum quatit. Cum alae emittuntur, post foramen nucem tenent. Cavea nuces huic descriptioni conformes anno 1952 et 1953 patentes erant.

Tertio, cavea nuces faciles adhibentur in materiis nimis tenuibus aut linamentis mollibus.
